संस्थाको परिचय
Organization Introduction
अपाङ्गता पुनर्स्थापना समाज, धादिङ एक गैरसरकारी, गैर-धार्मिक, गैर-राजनीतिक र मुनाफारहित सामाजिक संस्था हो । जसको स्थापना वि.सं. २०७० सालमा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्ति तथा तिनीहरूको अभिभावकहरूको अग्रसरतामा भएको हो। यो संस्था जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय, धादिङमा नेपालको संघ संस्था दर्ता ऐनमा भएको संस्था दर्ता सम्बन्धी व्यवस्था अनुरूप विधिवत रूपमा दर्ता भई जिल्लाभर आफ्नो कार्यक्षेत्र बनाएर क्रियाशील छ ।
यस संस्थाको उद्देश्य अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको हक, अधिकार, पुनर्स्थापना र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणका लागि काम गर्नु हो । यो संस्थाले आफ्नो स्थापना काल देखिनै अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको हक अधिकारका लागि पैरवी गर्ने, उनीहरूको क्षमता विकास गर्ने, सीपमूलक तथा व्यावसायिक तालिम मार्फत आर्थिक शसक्तिकरण गर्ने लगायत गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य उपचार, सहायक सामग्री वितरणमा विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको छ ।
यसैगरि संस्थाले अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको स्वावलम्बी र आत्मनिर्भर जीवन यापनको लागि रोजगार तथा स्वरोजगार प्रवर्धन, पहुँचयुक्तता प्रवर्धन, जनचेतना अभिवृद्धि, तालिम र अभिमुखिकरण कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गरिरहेको छ ।
साथै संस्थाले स्थानीय सरकार, संघसंस्था र समन्वय गरि अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको अधिकारसम्बन्धी महासन्धी, सन २००६, नेपालको संविधान २०७२ मा भएका व्यवस्था, अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको अधिकारसम्बन्धी ऐन, २०७४, अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको अधिकारसम्बन्धी नियमावली, २०७७ लगायत अन्य विभिन्न विषयगत कानुनहरूमा भएका अपाङ्गता सम्बन्धी व्यवस्थाहरूको कार्यान्वयनको लागि भूमिका खेल्दै आएको छ ।
Disabled Rehabilitation Society, Dhading is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political, and non-profit social organization. It was established in the year 2070 B.S. (2013 A.D.) through the initiative of persons with disabilities and their guardians. The organization is formally registered with the District Administration Office, Dhading, under the provisions of the Association Registration Act of Nepal and operates actively throughout the district.
The main objective of this organization is to advocate for the rights, rehabilitation, and social inclusion of persons with disabilities. Since its establishment, the organization has been actively involved in advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities, capacity building, and economic empowerment through skill-based and vocational training. It has also been implementing various programs to provide access to quality education, healthcare services, and assistive devices.
Furthermore, the organization promotes employment and self-employment opportunities, accessible infrastructure, awareness-raising initiatives, and training and orientation programs to help persons with disabilities lead self-reliant and independent lives.
In addition, the organization has been working in coordination with local governments and various institutions to ensure the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) 2006, the Constitution of Nepal 2072, the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2074, the Regulation on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2077, and other relevant sectoral laws and provisions related to disability rights.
